In Swahili, the term “Askari” refers to elephant bulls in a bachelor herd tasked with the critical responsibility of safeguarding the elder, dominant bulls.
The DSC Foundation’s Askari Circle honors financial supporters who contribute unrestricted donations to advance the Dallas Safari Club’s mission of conservation, education, and hunter advocacy. Full Membership is achieved upon reaching $100,000 in total unrestricted donations, recognizing hunter-conservationists committed to preserving hunting heritage and tradition.
With as little as $1,000, you can begin your journey to join the Askari Circle, proclaiming your pride in hunting and steadfast support for the DSC Foundation’s goals.
Becoming an Askari Circle Member
- Askari Circle donors, at all levels, will have access to the Askari Circle Lounge at the annual DSC Convention, where they can relax with complimentary food and drinks among the bustling convention activities
- Donors who have given $1,000 to $9,000 in unrestricted donations will have Bronze Level Membership
- Donors who have given between $10,000 and $24,000 will enjoy Silver Level Membership
- Donors who have given between $25,000 and $49,000 will be Gold Level Members
- Donors who have given between $50,000 and $99,000 will be Platinum Level Members
- Donors who have given between $100,000 and $249,000 will become Full Members of the Askari Circle, and will receive a custom, tailored blazer embroidered with the Askari Circle logo, and will be recognized for their generosity at scheduled DSC Foundation events
- Donors of between $250,000 and $499,000 will be Guardian Level members, and receive an additional Askari Circle Blazer as well as a set of Askari Circle pins in 10kt gold
- Donors whose support is between $500,000 and $999,000 will be Steward Level Members
- Donors who qualifying support exceeds $1,000,000 will achived Ambassador Level status and receive a diamond-adorned Askari Circle Pin in 10kt gold and will be given the opportunity to attend special meetings with the DSC Foundation leaders to learn directly about the Foundation and our future plans
