DSCF Directors – Craig Dixon

Craig Dixon

Craig Dixon is a fourth generation Texan and a native of Boerne, Texas. He learned gun safety and marksmanship at an early age from his father, a career Marine and that ultimately led to a lifelong love of firearms, hunting and the outdoors.

At Clan Dixon, hunting is a family sport and children Cameron, Afton, and Ian are all accomplished hunters in their own right, while wife Joan enjoys the travel aspect.

A love affair with West Texas had always been the backdrop for many family hunts, but it was a trip to Zimbabwe in 1999 that started his international hunting quest and the road to being a true conservationist.

Dixon received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a 40 plus year veteran of the Texas banking industry. He is a life Member of DSC and has served as the Foundation’s Treasurer since late 2022.
